Kirtan: A tool for celebrating life

 

Find out how to stay afloat amidst life's chaos and learn how to celebrate life despite the challenges you are facing. As difficult as it may seem, see how raag Kirtan can make it possible for you and give you some tools.

We will be pouring into ourselves with an online Kirtan meditation workshop to learn how to utilise raag Kirtan to make us mentally strong in challenging moments.

In celebration of Raj Academy's 29th Birthday (happening on 5th Sept!) we hope to see many of you there

Naad

Intensive Retreat - Germany

A full week of immersing yourself into the Naad of Sikh Music and enhancing your skills and abilities to take on lifes challenges with ease and self-confidence.

Kirtan Camp Intensive


Would you like to learn Kirtan on a Sikh String instrument? But feel you don’t have the time for a weekly commitment? Then this 5-day camp has been built for you. This dedicated camp will enable anyone to learn Kirtan from scratch. Where you are a complete beginner or want to expand your learning of Shabad Kirtan, this camp will provide a deep dive into learning your first Shabad in raag on the Dilruba Sikh instrument, all within 5 days.

Kirtan - A Tool for Mental Health

We don't believe the secrets behind raags for improving our mental health should be any secret. That's why we would love to have you join us to uncover all there is to raags in a fun creative way and even learn two raag compositions within 3-days with ease.

As part of the Smithsonian Folklife Festival 2023, a number of events were held over 4 days dedicated towards the sacred sounds of Sikh Music and how it can support insomnia and memory loss. Dukh Bhanjan

 

 An evening dedicated to non-stop 'Vaheguru' Simran in Raag using Sikh string instruments to evoke and send out positive healing, peace and love back into our bodies and the world.

Chant the sacred mantra 'Vaheguru' using deep focus and meditation. Allow yourselves to feel these sacred sounds resonating throughout you and the atmosphere to leave a ripple effect for days to come. 

Duration: 6 hours

FREE and open to all to attend.
